When I was a kid in 1968, the World’s Fair — HemisFair in San Antonio — felt like stepping into the future. One exhibit in particular amazed me: the AT&T Picturephone.
Imagine this: an 11-year-old boy sitting down, picking up a handset, and suddenly seeing the face of the person on the other end of the line. They told us one day this would be how we talk across the miles.
At the time, it sounded impossible. It was something you’d expect on The Jetsons, not in real life. But here we are, decades later, with FaceTime, Zoom, and WhatsApp in our pockets. That “someday” vision is now an everyday reality.
It makes me think: how many other “small ideas” today will become normal life tomorrow?
That’s why I believe in SaveClub. Right now, it’s a fresh way for people to save money on everyday bills, share the savings with others, and even generate income. But give it time — I think people will look back and say:
“I was part of that when it first started.”
The future doesn’t just show up by itself. It’s built by people willing to dream and take part in something new.
